Gary Ray Langley (Ray Ray) was born to James and Artie Langley in Yuba City, Ca, on August 26, 1960 and an identical twin Larry Jay Langley.
He is preceded in death by his father James Langley, his mother Artie Langley, 2 sisters Janet Gust and Diane Bredgford and his twin Larry Jay Langley, whom he missed all of his life. Gary grew up in Oregon and California. He has resided in Merced, Ca for the last 10 years and previously lived in Dos Palos. He was a farm worker and he did many other jobs.
He loved God first above all things and his beautiful wife Reba. She was his soul mate and best friend. When he met Reba his life changed instantly. He enjoyed fishing, camping and sports, but he loved football his favorite team the Miami Dolphins. He loved to be with family and friends and every person Gary met remained his friend, he just had a way with people. He had a big heart and loved everyone. His smile was a joy and his laugh was contagious. He is survived by his wife Reba Langley of Merced, Ca; 2 stepchildren, Richard Merrell of Merced, Ca and Debbie Merrell of Merced, Ca; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Michael Langley of Kennewick, Wa; 1 sister Louise Dudley of Dos Palos, Ca; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Gary will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Gary passed away at home with his wife by his side. God has gained an Angel and Gary will always be in our hearts.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 4 – 7 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street, Merced, Ca. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, with burial to immediately follow at Merced District Cemetery.
