Mrs. LILLIAN CATHERINE MISS, wife of Ira V. Miss, 13 Hamilton Avenue, died Wednesday afternoon at the Frederick Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for the past several weeks.

She is survived by her husband and two children, Mrs. Robert Swomley and Ira V. Miss, Jr., both at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burdette, Frederick; brothers and sisters: Vernon Burdette, Foster H. Burdette, Melvin E. Burdette, and Dorsey M. Burdette, all of Frederick; Austin Burdette, Frederick Rt. No. 1; Mrs. Bernard Hiltner, Lewis C. Burdette and Grayson C. Burdette, of Frederick; one granddaughter, Linda Verna Miss; one grandson, William Swomley.

She was a member of the United Brethren church, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Independent Hose Company No. 1.

Services were held at the C.E. Cline and Son funeral home; interment in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
