Sharon was born on December 24, 1935 in Ottawa, Illinois to the late Charles William Scullin and the late Rose Mary Veale Scullin. She married Robert Lavon Hendricks on February 10, 1957 and they were married for 47 years. Robert passed away on July 8, 2004 in Waldorf, MD, where they lived and raised their children. Sharon lived in Waldorf until 2014 when she moved to Charlottesville, VA to live with her daughter Janet M. and her husband Jamie Michaels.

Sharon was a sister and active member of her LDS church in White Plains, MD for many years and then in Charlottesville, VA, and had many friends. She held positions in the church of visiting teacher, secretary and teacher of children’s primary classes.

In addition to her parents and husband, Sharon was preceded in death by her brother Charles F. Scullin.

Sharon is survived by her loving family, including children Janet M. and her husband Jamie Michaels of Charlottesville, VA, Kenneth A. and his wife Melanie Hendricks of Alexandria, VA, Mary L. and her husband David Hines of LaPlata, MD, and Duane E. and his wife Kathleen Hendricks of Hughesville, MD; sister Dorothy DeBernardi of Ottawa, IL; fourteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and other relatives.
