Richard B. "Bee" Bartley

Richard B. "Bee" Bartley, age 79, of Mokane, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at his home, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born on July 14, 1936, in Fulton, Missouri, the son of the late James Richard Bartley and the late Abbigale (Berry) Bartley.
On March 21, 1959, Bee was united in marriage to Jesse (Taylor) Bartley. She survives his passing.
Bee proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Missouri Department of Transportation after more than thirty years of service. He enjoyed working on his farm an in his spare time, hunting and fishing. The times that brought Bee the most joy were those spent in the presence of his family and friends.
Bee's loss will be deeply felt by his family, including his wife of 56 years, Jesse; son, Rick Bartley (Robin) of Tebbetts, Missouri; daughters, Cindy Warden of Mokane, Missouri and Karen Pickering (Bob) of Boonsdale Missouri; brother, Lonnie Bartley (Carol) of Fulton, Missouri; sister, Loretta Farmer (Terry) of Fulton, Missouri; grandchildren, Jessica Parker, Jona Warden, Dani Schmidbauer, Chelsie Bartley, Meagan Vandelicht and Tyler Bartley; seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Dale and Dean Bartley; sister, Alice Reynolds.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2016, at Maupin Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00p.m. on Friday, January 1, 2016, at the funeral home. Interment with full Military Honors will be in Steedman Cemetey.
