Ami L. Allen, 82, of rural St. Charles, who died Sunday in Delnor hospital, were held Wednesday in St. Charles, Episcopal church, St. Charles, where he was a vestryman. Allen, who founded the Allen Real Estate office, Geneva, in 1936, was active in community affairs and was a board member of St. Dominic's college, St. Charles. Surviving are his widow, Esther D.; five sons, Ami F., David B., Richard D., Thomas E., and Douglas S.; 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandchildren [sic, recte great-grandchild].
