Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Scott for Emick Lormand, 78, who died Sunday at 2:15 p.m. at his residence in Scott. Entombment will be in the Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery Mausoleum.…Survivors include his wife the former Lulu Mae Martin of Scott, one daughter. . . , two sisters, Mrs. Martin “Idie” Roger of Carencro and Mrs. Leter “Ida” Hebert of Scott and one brother Waby Lormand of Ossun. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ivy Lormand. A native of the Ossun Community and a lifelong resident of Scott, Mr. Lormand was the son of the late Norbert Lormand and the former Pamela Domingue both natives of Ossun.
