Michael Wayne "Mike" Belcher, 61, of Oceana, WV went to be with the Lord on Sunday December 27, 2015 surrounded by his wife and loved ones in Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV.
He was born on June 7, 1954 in Mullens, WV a son of Virginia Alice Day-Belcher (1935-2016) of Oceana who lived with him and the late Ward E. Belcher (1931-1993). He was a 1972 graduate of Oceana High School.
Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 28 years Debbie Maynard-Belcher; two sons Brandon Belcher and his loving companion Tabbie of Beckley, Nicholas Laxton and wife Sara of Oak Hill; his two sons of the heart Johnathan England and wife Courtney of Oceana and Jeremy England of the home; a granddaughter Harmony England; a sister Melissa Dawn Belcher-Cozort and companion Richie Hannah; two daughters by a previous marriage; a grandson; two granddaughters; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends who loved him.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday December 30, 2015 at the Oceana Freewill Baptist Church, Oceana, WV, with Rev. Chuck Morgan and Rev. Timmy Brewster officiating. He will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV.
