Daughter of the late William Sylvester and Esther Daniels Swinson, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Melvin C. Stalls, Sr., and Asa Leroy Moore. Additionally, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Beulah Mae O'Brien and Mildred Hardison. She was a member of Siloam United Methodist Church where her funeral was held on December 9, 2015, with The Rev. Larris Tolson officiating. She was survived by daughers, Betty S. Overton and Rebecca R. Moore; son, Melvin C. Stalls, Jr.; sisters, Grace Ange and Marguerite Mangum; grandchildren, Melvin C. Stalls, III, Sisan Miller, Tempe Gilbert, Mandy Moore and Abigail Fox; great-grandchild, Casey Stalls; and an extended family of relatives and friends.
