She was born in Kansas City, Mo. on November 10, 1928, to the late Robert and Daisy (Toothman) Antle.
She married Author D. Fisher in St. Joseph and he preceded her in death in 1993.
Luella loved her family and the years she had with them. She worked at Noma Lights and Chase Candy Company. She was a member of the Holiday Rambler Camping Club.
Survivors include: two sons, Danny and Loretta Fisher of Faucett, Mo. and Steven and Terry Fisher of Country Club; one daughter, Deborah McGee of Country Club; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one sister; five brothers; and one infant son, Author Denton Jr.
Graveside Celebration of Life will be: 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, St. Joseph.
