Sheila D McKinney died on December 23, 2015 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH after years of battling Alzheimer's and heart disease. Sheila was born in Claremont, NH on May 19, 1948 the daughter of Clayton A and Anita Leckner Murray, who predeceased her.

She had been a resident of Hanover Terrace in Hanover, NH.

After graduating from Stevens High School in 1969, she went to work in various places such as retail, Woven Label and as a bank teller.

She followed her husband in his navy career to many bases in the US and Rota, Spain where their son was born. She was also predeceased by her husband Thomas G. McKinney and their son, Donald C. McKinney also two sisters and a brother.

Sheila leaves behind a daughter-in-law, Fayth McKinney, a grandson, Griffen and a granddaughter, Tessa; her surviving sisters are Glenora and Anthony Bennett, Vicky and Robert Goodhue, Gail M. Patten, Shirley and Frank DeCoteau, Elizabeth Gierko and her brothers, Jack Murray, Douglas and Carolyn Murray and Robert and Doris Murray; many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family at Mountain View Cemetery where she joins her son.
