Donna Maria Bishop, 66, of Ladoga passed away Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015, at Plainfield Health Care.
She was born Oct. 19, 1949, at Danville, Indiana, to the late Glenn M. Cravens and Betty Jean Nicholson. She married Kenneth R. Bishop on March 14, 1969, at Ladoga. He survives.
Donna graduated from Ladoga High School in 1968. She was a homemaker and worked at Ladoga Post Office for several years. She also ran a successful housekeeping business for over 30 years. She was a member of Ladoga Christian Church and Ladoga Tri Kappa. She loved spending time traveling with friends and family. She also enjoyed her time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Donna is survived by her husband, Kenneth Bishop, Ladoga; children, Laura (Thomas) Lowe, Ladoga, Christina (Christopher) Walden, Yulee, Florida, and Kenny Bishop, Brownsburg; five grandchildren, Garrett and Justin Lowe, Chloe Walden and Drew and Beth Bishop; six siblings, Larry (Jackie) Cravens, Ladoga, Nidrah (Thomas) Adams, Franklin, Kevin Cravens, Ladoga, David (Melanie) Cravens, Crawfordsville, Rebecca Carson, Roachdale, and Patricia Williams, Ladoga; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Betty Cravens.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, at Ladoga Christian Church, 124 W. Elm St., Ladoga, with Pastor Bill Carrington officiating. Burial will follow at Ladoga Cemetery. Friends are welcome to visit with the family from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
