JOSEPH TOMCHECK

Joseph Tomcheck, 77, formerly of 2013 David Ave., and currently residing at Heritage Nursing Center, died there Saturday morning, Dec. 11, 1993.

Joseph was born March 19, 1916 in Newton, the son of the late Walter and Frances (Mrotek) Tomcheck.

On Nov. 27, 1937, Joseph and the former Erma Schreiber were united in marriage at St. Casimir Catholic Church. His wife Erma preceded him in death last month, Nov. 15, 1993.

Joseph was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army from June 1945 to October, 1946.

Mr. Tomcheck was employed at the Kohler Company, Garton Toy and Dostdyk and Wilke Communications. He was a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church.

Survivors include a sister, Cecilia (Oliver) Landt, Milwaukee, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and special friends, Gerald and Ann Dortman, Sheboygan. Joseph was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

A funeral service will be held for Joseph on Tuesday, Dec. 14, at 11 a.m. at the Ramm-Ziegler-Novak-Rettke Funeral Home, Southside Chapel, will be Rev. Paul Fliss officiating. Burial will be in St. Casimir Cemetery.

Friends may call at the south side funeral home, 1535 S. 12th St., on Tuesday, from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m.

It is the wish of the family that memorials be given to the memorial fund established in Joseph's name.
