Anna Marie Rathsack, 89, formerly of 1810 Madison St., Manitowoc, died Saturday, April 22, 1989 at Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc. The daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Leiterman) Watzka was born May 14, 1899 in Pine Grove (Brown County), Wis. She married Ben Rathsack May 1, 1923 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Pine Grove, Wis.. He preceded her in death Nov. 23, 1966. After their marriage, the couple resided on a farm in Manitowoc County. Mrs. Rathsack moved to Manitowoc after her husband's death.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Alvin and Veda Rathsack Gillette; Donald and Barbara Rathsack, Manitowoc; Joseph and Victoria Rathsack, Rural Manitowoc; two daughters and sons-in-law, Charlotte and Melvin Landt, Mishicot; Evelyn and John Schneider, Manitowoc; a brother, Melvin Watzka, Green Bay; son-in-law, Joseph Rader, Osmond, Wis.; sister-in-law, Helen Hamilton, California; 22 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Marilyn Rader; one brother; three sisters; a grandson, Bruce; and one great-grandson.

Funeral was held 11 a.m. today at St. Kasmir Catholic Church, Northeim, Wis. The Rev. Charles Mocco officiated the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial in St. Kasmir Cemetery, Northeim, Wis. Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, assisted the family with the arrangements.
