Robert M. Pekarske, 55, of Valders, died Thursday afternoon, August 18, at his residence.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Casimir Church, Northeim. The Rev. Charles Mocco will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Pekarske was born May 21, 1928, at Newton, son of Agnes Logan Pekarske and the late Max Pekarske. He was a 1946 graduate of Lincoln High School and was employed for many years as a switchman for Chicago Northwestern Railroad. He married Ordella Wittmus, Oct. 29, 1955, at Dubuque, Iowa. Mr. Pekarkse was a member of Valders American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Ordella; a son, Robert Jr. of Milwaukee; two daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and Warren Lutze of Valders and Diane and James Palmar of Milwaukee; his mother, Mrs. Agnes Pekarske of Northeim; a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Jeanette Pekarske of Manitowoc; a sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Gerald Wilda of Norfolk, Va. And a granddaughter, Rachel Lutze. He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, Valders, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, where a prayer service will be at 8 p.m. by Father Mocco.
