LEONA RUTH BURLEY, 74, of Huntington died July 11, 2003, at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Thaddaeus Allen in Ridgelawn Cemetery Mausoleum at 11 a.m. Monday, July 14, 2003. Ruth was born June 18, 1929, a daughter of the late Charles Clinton and Emogene Lemley Vaughn. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert N. "Bob" Burley, a longtime manager of Camden Park; a brother, Frank Vaughn; and, most recently, a daughter-in-law, Grace Burley of Huntington. She was a homemaker. Survivors include three sons, Larry Burley of Huntington, David Burley of Columbia, S.C. and Clinton Burley of Kenova; two daughters-in-law, Melissa Burley of Kenova and Lynn Burley of Columbia; two brothers, Leo Vaughn and Charles Vaughn, both of Ashland; three sisters, Betty Vaughn of Canvas, W.Va., Donna Vaughn of Richmond, Va. and Dolores Boley of Huntington, with whom she made her home; and a special niece, Vicki Hoover of Canvas. Additionally, Ruth is survived by six grandchildren, Jennifer Martin and LeAnn Burley of Huntington, Robert Burley of Milton, Lauren and Lindsay Burley of Kenova and Blaine Burley of Columbia. She also has seven great-grandchildren and a host of friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Ruth's name to Hospice of Huntington, 1101 6th Ave, Huntington, WV 25701. A procession to the cemetery will depart from Reger Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. There will be no visitation.
