Born December 5, 1956 in Decatur, Ill., she was the daughter of Robert E. and Cecilia Colleen (Munie) Grossman.
Jean Marie was a proud and devoted 2nd Grade teacher at E. J. Blott in Liberty, she loved teaching as well as learning. She graduated with highest honors from Youngstown State University, receiving both her Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Arts in Education, earning Magna Cum Laude in both degrees. She volunteered for the American Cancer Society.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Charles D. Lamb; daughters: Jennifer (Matthew) Durno, Danielle (Michael Yarina) Lamb, and Randi Lamb; sisters: Michelle (Mary Crock) Judy and Melissa (Bobby) Thomas, brothers: Brian (Mary) Grossman and Steven (Lauren) Grossman; her beloved Black Lab, Willie, and her "grand-dogs" Molson and Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Burial will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
