Funeral services for Mrs. W. Lucille Allen, 77, of 1114 Clara Verner Tower, who died Thursday at Druid City Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Funeral Home. Dr. Allan Watson the Rev. Don Springer will officiate with 3 p.m. graveside services at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham and Sunset Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include a son, A.E. Allen Jr., Coker; four grandchildren. Tommy Allen, Deborah Allen and Melinda Allen, Coker, and Eddie Allen, Echola; two sisters, Miss Stella Nance, Mrs. Marie Pierce, both of Birmingham; and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Wallace, Bill Wyatt, Tommy Allen, Eddie Allen, Tommy Lancaster, Chuck Houston.
Honorary pallbearers will include members of First Christian Church in Mobile, residents of Clara Verner Tower, nurses and staff ICU and CCU, Druid City Hospital, Chaplain Elaine Henderson, Dr. John Todd, Dr. David Mauritson, Jayne Morris, Joan Camp, Lucille Edge and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight at the funeral home.
