John Bass, age 73 of Mauston, Wisconsin passed away peacefully Friday, April 10, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.
According to John’s wishes he will be cremated and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Saturday, April 18, 2015 beginning at 12:00 Noon at the Bass Hollow Park, just south of the Jackson Clinic Tavern on Highway K between Mauston and Reedsburg.
John was born November 27, 1941 in Seven Mile Creek Township, Juneau County, Wisconsin the son of Durlin and Mildred (Jackson) Bass. John loved being outside and being with his family and friends.
John is survived by his significant other of many years, Tracy Luke; a son, Jonathan (Laurie) Bass; step daughter, Amberlee Luke; granddaughter, Kristin; step grandson, William (Willybear); brothers, Charles (Nadine) Bass, Kenneth (Kay) Bass, Dannie (Patsy) Bass, Michael (Stacy) Clark and a sister, Debra Clark. John was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jeffery Bass; and brothers, Steven Bass, Dennis Bass, Ronald Bass and Keith Bass.
