DANNA Samuel Joseph Devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather Owner and Manager of Danna's Pizza Traffic Manager at Artistic Greetings Age 86, died on November 19, 2005 at home surrounded by loved ones. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 58 years, Marjorie; and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Danna. He is survived by his children, Donna Henning, Bernadette Danna-Lee, Evadna Danna, Yvette (Robert) Danna-McDonald, Celeste (Frank) Bohman, Salvatore (Ellen) Danna Jr.; eleven grandchildren; sisters, Jenny Jump, Anna Paganelli, Rosie Roberts, Theresa VanBenCoten; brother, Leonard (Marion) Danna; sisters-in-law, Angela and Lena Danna, Shirley Troy, Eloise Ciotti; and several nieces, nephews and special friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Mary's Church, 224 Franklin Street, Elmira, NY on Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. Reverend Richard Farrell will celebrate the Mass. Interment will follow in St. Peter and Paul's Cemetery, where the Chemung County Veterans Honor Squad will accord Mr. Danna full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to the charity of your choice. Sam was dedicated to his wonderful wife and loving family. He was recognized and honored for his Air Force service in WW II and lived a life of devotion and pride for his country and Catholic faith.
