Francis was the son of the Late Stephen and Arnetta (Galloway) Fisher.
He was a steadfast member of the First Presbyterian Church, where he had served as elder and trustee of the church; member of the Barnesville Elks Lodge, 1699; member Barnesville Masonic Lodge 89, F & AM.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Fisher.
He leaves his wife, Dorothy (Clouse) Fisher, to whom he was married October 28, 1930; son, Donald; grandsons, Scott and Steven; brothers, Paul and Lester; several nieces and nephews.
