THROCKMORTON, Patricia (Pat) of Riverside, OH, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend, left us in the early morning hours of December 24, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton, surrounded by family members. Pat had lived with COPD for the last few years but was recently diagnosed with cancer. Pat was born on April 22, 1957 at MVH. She was the daughter of Joann Plotkin of Beavercreek, and Jerry (Beverly) Throckmorton of Beavercreek. She was predeceased by her brother, Chuck and her step father, Karl Plotkin. Pat grew up in Beavercreek and graduated from BHS, class of 1975. Growing up she spent her summers traveling the US, with her family, visiting her maternal grandparents in Sonora and Capitola, CA, crossing the country many times, also visiting Canada and Mexico, she had many happy memories of these trips. She was always her Daddy's little girl until the time of her death. She enjoyed playing on a girls softball team, also playing ball with all the neighborhood kids, who hung out at our house. She lived a short time in Kansas, but returned to Ohio. She worked at Olan Mills, ITT, was a mortgage broker for a while and then worked at Edict Systems in Beavercreek until 2 years ago when she had to leave due to her COPD. In addition to her parents Pat is survived by her loving dog Ginger, (whom she considered her child) her brothers Keith Throckmorton of Murfreesboro, TN, Todd (Ann) Throckmorton of Washington, DC, and Gary (Donna) of Riverside, half-brother Michael Lawson of Dayton. Step brothers and sisters, Edward Reboulet of Lawrence, KS, Suzann (Herb) Baker of Wilmington, OH, Sheryl (James) Beck of Highland Park, IL, Beth (Edward) Shapiro of Denver, CO and David (Shaun) Plotkin of Richmond, CA. Nieces and nephews, Amanda (Jayson) Jones, Corey, Tyler, Brooke(Chuck), Olivia, Allen (Keith), Kurt, Sarah (Luke) Keiser (Todd), Grayson, Chayse (Gary) also Sarah and Rachel Beck, Keturah Shapiro, Sigal and Liana Plotkin. Great niece and nephews, Delani and Parker Jones and Lawson Throckmorton. Pat leaves numerous Lawson cousins and friends, many from her childhood and others from work etc. She was such an outgoing person and sometimes quite a jokester. She was an avid sports fan, especially a Reds fan. She loved animals and had she been able would have taken in every stray or mistreated animal, she often said she preferred animals to humans. She would like contributions to be made in her memory to SISCA, The Humane Society or any animal shelter. Per her wishes she will be cremated, there will be no service and she will be buried at a later date in the Pines Pet Cemetery.
