Karen Jean Lyons , age 61, resident of Pillager MN, died Sunday December 27, 2015 at Essentia-St Joesph's Medical Center after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Karen loved gardening, flowers and her many animals. Most of all she loved her family who in turn adored her.
She is survived by her loving husband Don Lyons Jr.; her children- daughter Nichole (Tony) Rees, son Cody Lyons (Vanessa Parsons); her grandchildren Jasmine (Jared) Richards, Isaiah Johnson, Mariah Johnson, Jayden Lyons; sisters Gail (John) Frank, Bobbi Jo (Brian) Hines, Holly (James) Hines, Dennis (Sherry) Hines.
She was greeted in heaven by her beloved father Clayton Hines many aunts uncles and cousins.
She will be dearly missed by all.
Funeral Services will be 1 PM Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd with Pastor Todd Wooden officiating. Visitation will begin at 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery in Pillager.
