Evelyn Hope Hoover age 88 of Pratt passed away peacefully on Monday, April 2, 2012 at home after a long illness. She was born September 19, 1924 to the late Romie D. and Nora Kiser Shafer of Smith Creek. She was also preceded in death by her only brother James M. Shafer who was of South Charleston.
She was a member of the Old Kanawha Baptist Church in Pratt.
