Born April 28, 1913, in Langdondale, she was the daughter of the late Rhoda (Dick) and Edward Swartz. She was united in marriage to David Edward Coy Aug. 29, 1929. He preceded her in death Feb. 15, 1978.
Mrs. Coy is survived by three daughters and a son, Delores Rourke of Robertsdale, Jean Risbon of Saxton, R.R., and Frances “Peggy” Coy of Saxton, and Jimmie Coy of Robertsdale, 15 grandchildren, 31 greatgrandchildren and 35 greatgreat grandchildren.
Mrs. Coy was preceded in death by two sons, Donnie Coy and Jackie Coy; a daughter, Donna Mae Work; and a brother and a sister.
She was a member of the Robertsdale Church of God for 83 years.
Mrs. Coy was an avid sewer and had worked at Scampers and Quality Manufacturing.
She enjoyed family and friends and loved going to the Robertsdale Church of God.
Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, March 31, at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc., Broad Top City, with the Rev. Nathan Starr officiating. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery, Saxton.
Friends are invited to call from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the funeral home.
