Teresa B. "Teri" Lynch, 64, went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, November 5, 2012.
She passed at a local hospice facility surrounded by her family. She was born in 1948 to Linwood and Ferne Bunch of Portsmouth, Virginia.
An amazing woman, Teri served in a number of key positions in banking, real estate, civic organizations and government while maintaining a wonderful home life for her family. Intelligent, well read, articulate and mature, Teri was a consummate pianist, public speaker, community organizer and friend to all. She enjoyed the outdoors, boating, fishing, sports, gardening and her two precious dogs Hunter and Debbie.
Survivors include her husband of 26 years LTC (R) John B. Lynch, her sons Charles A. Collette and his wife, Michelle of Pascagoula, Mississippi, William D. Collette and his wife, Lael of Fruitland Park, Florida. Seven grandchildren and four step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her infant son Charles T. Collette; and her parents, Linwood and Ferne Bunch.
Funeral services will be at 11:00am Saturday, November 10, 2012, at Kent-Forest Lawn Chapel. The family will receive friends on Friday November 9, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
