Janet K. Ackerman, nee Weber, 71, of Collinsville, Ill., born on July 9, 1944, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, peacefully at her residence.
Janet was an original and ahead of her time. She was an avid reader, walker and a life long seeker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Rose, nee Sulc, Weber; and a brother-in-law, Mick Ackerman.
Surviving are her son, Todd (Andy Gensler) Ackerman of St. Louis, Mo.; sister, Joyce Ackerman of Troy, Ill.; niece, Karen (Curtis) James; nephew, Joshua (Julie) Ackerman; great-nephews, Ian and Spencer James and Isaac Ackerman; Fidel and Rafa.
