Jesse Coleman Berry, 86, of Searcy, died Monday, October 19, 2015 at the Unity Health-White County Medical Center in Searcy. He was born in Stone County, Arkansas on January 8, 1929 to the late Wesley and Artie Dillion Berry. Jesse enjoyed fishing as long as health permitted and was retired from the City of Searcy.
He is survived by his children, Judy Cooper of Searcy, Teddy Berry of South Carolina, Barbara Turner of Judsonia, Robert Berry and James Berry both of Searcy and Sandra Hite of Pleasant Plains; sister, Dolly Reed of Searcy; 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Berry.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the Sidon Cemetery by Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob – Judsonia.
