Lois was born on July 18, 1921, in La Porte, IN, to Jesse and Christine Babcock. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Evelyn Saunders, and a brother, William Babcock.
On June 15, 1940, in Plymouth, IN, she married Louis McDaniel, who preceded her in death in January 2010. Surviving are her four children, Larry (Suzanne) McDaniel of Elk Grove Village, IL, Harry (Beverly) McDaniel of Mishawaka, Kathy (Mark) Cowan of Platt City, MO, and Nancy (Bryan) Culp of Mishawaka; seven grandchildren and 9 great- grandchildren.
She was a lifelong home maker and enjoyed taking care her children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 29th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 30th, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior in the funeral home, with Rev. Bob Vale officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.
