HERMAN DUCHOW
(1928 - 2015)

Herman Duchow, age 87 of Chilton, died on Thursday December 24, 2015 at Century Ridge in Chilton.

He was born on December 20, 1928 in Collins, son of the late Adolph R. and Katie (Steltonpohl) Duchow. Herman farmed the family homestead his entire life. He enjoyed woodworking, listening to polka music and he loved to play his harmonica. He was a lifelong member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Collins where he was baptized and confirmed and was also a charter member of the Rockea Hunting Club.

Survivors include a brother, Emil (Lorraine) Duchow, nephews and nieces, Delton, David, Daniel and Charles Duchow, Jane Schnell, Dennis and Wayne Duchow, Katherine Johnstone, Patricia Woelfel, Richard Duchow, Tammy Kenneke, Gerald Duchow and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters-in-law Adolph (Eleanor) Duchow, Willard (Sylvia) Duchow and Harvey Duchow, a nephew Thomas Duchow and a niece Jean Hack. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday December 29, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Collins. The Rev. Robert Weiss will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from NOON until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Peters Lutheran Church, Collins.

The Duchow family would like to thank the staff of Century Ridge for the excellent care given to Herman the past 7 years.
