Wilma Caldwell 92, went to be with Jesus on December 25, 2015. Wilma was born July 17, 1923 to Roy E. & Sarah (Jackson) Ramsey.

Wilma graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1941. Wilma married the love of her life, Major T. Caldwell. They had 3 children. They raised their family in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, where she worked for Cities Service. After their daughter married, they moved to Arkansas with the YMCA. They were then transferred to Great Falls, Montana. Wilma worked for Prudential Insurance until they were hired to manage the Horizon Lodge for senior citizens, located in Conrad, Montana. They were there several years until Wilma's health declined and they moved back to Oklahoma. They were very active members of First Presbyterian Church of Edmond, Oklahoma. Hobbies include: bridge, ceramics, Tole painting, crossword puzzles, reading, knitting and making quilts. Wilma won several ribbons for her quilts. Wilma had 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Major T. Caldwell, brothers Rasty, Claude, Barney Ramsey, sisters Ruby Chilton, Leota Ramsey, and her great grandson Trevor Stepp. Wilma is survived by her brother Roy Dee Ramsey, wife Louise, in Tulsa, OK. Sister-in-law Jane Forbes, in Broken Arrow, OK, sister-in-law Lavona Harris, husband Don Harris, in Coweta, OK. Daughter Penny Stepp, husband Ken, in Edmond, OK. Grandson Stephen Stepp, wife Patsy, Dennis Stepp both of Edmond, OK. Great granddaughter Brandie Rust, husband Dillon, John Paul Brakhage, both of Edmond, OK. Son Don Dee Caldwell, wife Mary, granddaughter Katie Caldwell, in Sun Valley, Idaho, son Roy Hale Caldwell, wife Bonnie, in Helena, Montana, granddaughter Amanda McVay, husband Casey, in Portland, Oregon, granddaughter Lindsey Caldwell, grandson Ian Caldwell, wife Breanna, both in Helena, Montana.

Wilma was a wonderful mother who taught her children, manners, morals, honesty and good work ethics. The family would like to thank "Care By Design" and "Frontier Hospice" for the wonderful care Wilma received. Our deepest appreciation to Kristin Davis and First Presbyterian Church who gave Wilma the care and attention she needed. Thank you to sweet friend Julie Cox for her devotion to Wilma. Wilma will be missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be from 12-8pm Tuesday, December 29th, 2015 at Baggerley Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, December 30th, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Church of Edmond with a 3:30pm Graveside Service at the Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma to follow.
