Jeffrey Scott Woodard Sr. passed away suddenly at home on January 28, 2011 at the age of 56. A native of Toledo, he was born to the union of Alton and Cleo Woodard Sr. He was a former member of Indiana Ave. Missionary Baptist Church. Jeff graduated from Rogers High School and attended the University Of Toledo Community College. He was looking forward to retiring soon and was employed with the City of Toledo Water Reclaimation transferring to the Water Distribution where he worked as lead locator. He was a member of AFSCME Local 7, enjoyed playing sports, always willing to lend a helping hand to someone and dearly loved spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Alton Woodard Sr.; sister, Frances Woodard; nephews, Jerry and Howard Woodard and Matthew David Winters. He leaves to cherish his memory wife, Margo of 33 years; children, Jeffrey Scott Woodard Jr.; daughter, Heather Darlene Woodard; mother, Cleo Woodard, granddaughter, Kouri Ann Marie Woodard, brothers, Alton Jr., and Gary Woodard; niece, Kimberly Woodard; 2 great nieces, Jenna and Malia; mother-in-law, Willa Banks; brothers-in-law, Arthur Dunson, Rev. Darian, Calvin and Robert Banks, Cocoa and Sophia and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Friday followed by wake service from 6-8 p.m. at Dale-Riggs Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, Rev. Cedric Brock officiant.
