She was a graduate of the American School for the Deaf in West Hartford, CT.She was employed by the U.S. Post Office and had recently retired. Cynthia had a special love of genealogy. She leaves her husband of 40 years John L. Abbott; a son Keith Abbott of Boston, two daughters Lisa Vaughan of Orange and Elaine Abbott of Northfield, three grandchildren Linwood Vaughan, Devon Aprile, Lydia Vaughan and her mother Winifred (Drown) Frazier of Northfield and a sister Diane Hmieliski of Davenport, FL. She is predeceased by her father Harold Frazier.
