Deborah Jean Patterson, nee Bevill, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2015, at the age of 61.
She was born to Leon and Mildred "LaNelle" Bevill in Clifton, Colorado, on December 16, 1954, the youngest of four children. Deborah graduated from Central High School and briefly attended the University of Colorado-Boulder.
Deborah met Vernon Kraig Patterson in Grand Junction, Colorado, and they married on July 15, 1978, in Ely, Nevada. Kraig and Deborah had two children, Preston and Allison. Nothing was more important to Deborah than family and she centered her life around them.
She worked for Mountain Bell and later for the City of Fruita, where she was employed for 20 years.
Deborah is survived by her husband, Kraig; their two children; her sister, Barbara Hill; brother, Eldon Bevill; father-in-law, Vernon Keith Patterson; as well as many other relatives.
Flowers and gifts are not necessary. If you would like to honor Deborah, imitate her.
A service will be held at Appleton Christian Church at 2 p.m. Monday, December 28.
