She reitred in 1971 from Hendrickson's department store in downtown Frederick. She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Frederick.
Surviving are four sons, Glen L. Nikirk of Thurmond, Travis F. Nikirk and Ronald D. Nikirk, both of Frederick; and Welty E. Nikirk, Laurel; daughter, Mrs. Shirley A. Rippeon, Frederick; sister, Mrs. Thomas (Bertha) Mohler, Frederick; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Private services were held at a time convenient to the family; interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
