Arthur Adams, a self-employed engineer for 50 years, died Wednesday at his home in Concord. He was 81.
The native of Live Oak was a resident of Sutter County before moving to Concord 27 years ago. He was a member of Engineers Union Local 3 in San Francisco, Concord Elks Lodge 1994, Luso-American Club and Knights of Pythias.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Loutie Adams of Concord; daughter, Nancy Olson of Concord; son, Jerry Adams of Angels Camp; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services: Noon today at Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel, with burial at Oakmont Memorial Park, Lafayette.
