Rosemary Herzog, age 72, of 14718 Point Creek Rd., Newton, Wis., died early Monday morning, July 3, 2000, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2000, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill, Wis. Concelebrating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Cletus LaMere and Deacon Jim Steffen, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Rosemary was born October 7, 1927, in Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Simon and Nellie Barnes Fitzgerald. She was a graduate of Valders High School with the class of 1945. On June 25, 1949, she married Ralph Herzog, at St. Isadore Catholic Church, Osman. The couple just celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary.

Survivors include her husband, Ralph Herzog, Newton; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jack Herzog and special friend, Nancy Zeman, Newton, Mike and LouAnn Herzog, Kiel; one daughter, Nancy Herzog, Madison; seven grandchildren, Sacha, Alecia, Tyler, Katie, Isaiah, Nora, & Gracie; one great grandson, Michael; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Alice and Leo Kunz, Madison, Kathleen Schwalbe, Rockwood; one brother and two sisters-in-law, Warren and Rita Fitzgerald, Sun City, Ariz., Maxine Fitzgerald, Manitowoc; and special friends, the Hillstrom families. She is also survived by nieces, nephew, other relatives and many friends. Rosemary was also preceded in death by a daughter, Gina; two brothers and a sister-in-law, John and Ginny Fitzgerald, and Norbert Fitzgerald, and Norbert Fitzgerald.

The family will greet relatives and friends Thursday morning at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill form 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m.

The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

The family would like to thank the staff of Holy Family Memorial Medical Center 3 West, including Drs. Govier and Baatz for their compassionate care and kindness.
