Funeral services were Sept. 4 for Myrtle E. Fransen, 106, Watertown, who died on Sept. 1, 2005, in a Watertown care center. The services were held in First Congregational Church at Watertown.

Myrtle Busk was born on Feb. 8, 1900, near Westbrook, Minn., to Christian and Christina Busk. The family moved to Summit and farmed there for many years. She married Elva Fransen.

Survivors include 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, including David and Richard Busk of Madison.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Charles; a daughter, Crissie; five brothers; and two sisters.
