Tulia, Texas-Wilma Dunn, 79, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 in Olton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 30, 2015 in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Stone and Rev. Charles Davenport officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the funeral home.

Wilma was born on January 20, 1936 in Morton’s Mill, Texas to Pete and Nadine Wilkerson. She grew up in Shallowater and Hale Center. She married John D. Dunn, Jr. on December 8, 1952 in Cotton Center. They moved Tulia in 1957 from Hale Center. She was a mother, homemaker and a farmer’s wife. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and served on the bereavement committee for several years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Kenneth Earl Wilkerson and Jimmy Lee Wilkerson and one sister, Yvonne Shaw.

She is survived by her husband, John Dunn of Tulia, one daughter, Debbie Cox and husband Ricky of Lubbock, three sons, Johnny Dunn of Tulia, David Dunn and wife Sheila of Tulia and Donald Dunn and wife Brenda of Waxahachie, one brother, Harvey Lee Dunn of Lubbock, eight grandchildren,14 great grandchildren with one on the way.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, 101 N. Crosby, Tulia, Texas 79088.

TULIA — Wilma Dunn, 79, of Tulia died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015, in Olton.
