DAVENPORT--Peter "Bill" Arp, 69, of 1415 E. 39th St., died Tuesday in his home.
Services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will be at a later date in Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport.
Mr Arp retired in 1984 as a foreman after 23 years with Iowa Department of Transportation. Before that, he and his wife farmed in the Eldridge and Clinton areas.
Bill is the son of Peter and Dorothea (Pahl) Arp. He married Elna Rochau in 1946 in Davenport.
He was a former member of Davenport Moose Lodge and enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and gardening.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Linda (Mrs Burt) Waddell, North Lewisburg, Ohio, Crystal (Mrs Dick) Lehman, Odessa, Texas, and Dorie (Mrs Philip) Benore, Davenport; a son, Ronnie, Davenport; 11 grandchildreh; a great-grandchild; and brothers, Jack and Jim, both of Davenport; and Ned, Longmount, Colo.
