Tony S.B. Lee, age 98, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2015 with family members and Pastor Chan by his side.

He was born in Canton, China, on April 23, 1917. A graduate of Ling Nam University in Canton, China, he immigrated to the United States in 1949.

After running the historic Lee Fow Market with his father, he operated a second neighborhood grocery store, Trailer Court Market, before starting the Tony Lee Realty Company. He was a successful real estate broker and investor.

A charter and long-standing member of the Tucson Chinese Baptist Church, he was on the Board of Trustees of the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona (CFSA). Tony was one of the founding members of, and past president of, the Tucson Chinese Association and was a member of the Tucson-Tai'Jung sister cities program.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Bella Wong Lee; five children: Diana Lew (David), Gregory (Lan-Ing Julia), Michael (Mei-Gee), Joyce Wong (Jason) and David (Cathy); 12 grandchildren: Evan, Darren, and Jonathan Lew; Jennifer, Susanna, and Jessica Lee; Michael Jr. and Andrew Lee; Alexa and Matthew Wong; Cameron and Amanda Lee; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Tucson Chinese Baptist Church at 11:00 am, with graveside service following at Evergreen Cemetery.
