Marie R. Nogle
90, of Mainlands of Pinellas Park, Fla., passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012.
She was born April 16, 1922, in Highfield, Md., the daughter of the late Willis and Ida C. (Haugh) Rohrbaugh.
She graduated with the class of 1940 from Washington Township High School, Franklin County, Pa. She attended Waynesboro, Pa., Business College prior to employment at Landis Machine Co. of Waynesboro.
She married Robert E.
Nogle on Feb. 22, 1947, and they lived in the Philadelphia area for 47 years. Just prior to their relocation to Florida, Marie had retired as private secretary to the Director of Special Education for the Delaware County, Pa., Intermediate Unit in 1985.
Marie was a lifetime member of Friendship Chapter 551 Order of Eastern Star and M.C.
Verner Court 71 Order of the Amaranth, both of Philadelphia. She was a member of Ridley Park, Pa., United Methodist Church and attended St.
Paul United Methodist Church in Largo, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sisters; and three brothers.
Survivors include daughters, Linda K. Nogle and her husband, Terry Repko, of Jacksonville and Avis A.
(Nogle) Harper of St. Petersburg; grandsons, Matthew and Brad Harper, both of Newark, Del.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home, 7950 131st St., Seminole, Fla. 33776.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association.
