JAMISON, Sr., Samuel D. Age 92, born 8/22/23 in Ash Ridge, Ohio, went to meet Jesus on 12/19/2015. Sam was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Lucille Purdon Jamison; mother, Grace Mae Ball Jamison; father, William George Jamison; sister, Irma Kimball Seigel; and brother, Bill Jamison. He is survived by his sons, Sam (Kathy) Jamison of LaFollette, TN, Tony Jamison of Xenia, OH; daughters, Mary Roquet Ford of LaFollette, TN and Connie (Irv) Bloom of Kim Bolton, OH; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins and special friend, Helen Whalen. Sam was a veteran of WWII served in the Navy aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise. Retired from Frigidaire Moraine after 38 years. He was a charter member of the V.F.W. #9927. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 26, 2015 from 10:30am-12:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 12pm, with Pastor Damon Reid officiating. Burial will take place at Miami Valley Memory Gardens with military honors. The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Dayton for their loving care
