The funeral for Charles W. Loudon, a former well-known resident of Garfield, will be held from the undertaking parlors of Eber W. Ball (sic) at 1 o'clock this afternoon. Mr. Loudon died in Butte last Saturday after a brief illness. At the time of his death he was foreman for the Butte-Extension Mining Company. During his residence in Utah he was connected with a number of the large mining companies of this State. Born at East Waterford, Pa., forty-two years ago, Mr. Loudon came west when a young man and engaged in mining which he followed until the time of his death. He is survived by a widow and one daughter.
