Harold F. McManus, Sr., 84, resident of Meadow Cross Road in Topsham, died Saturday, December 19, 2015, at Winship Green Nursing Home in Bath following a lengthy illnes.
He was born December 6, 1931, in Topsham, ME, a son of Harold H. and Minnie A. (Neil) McManus.
Harold was raised in Topsham and attended Topsham schools.
He was employed for over 40 years at the Pejepscot Paper Mill in Topsham and also helped run the family farm.
He was a member of the Topsham Fair, a Past President of the Maine Fair Association and was a former member of the United Lodge of Masons. Harold loved spending time tending to his farm and going to the various fairs throughout the State of Maine.
He was predeceased by his wife Sara Mae (Staples) McManus who died in 2014.
Survivors include his son Harold F. McManus, Jr. and his wife Lee of Topsham and a granddaughter Sara F. McManus of Topsham.
A graveside service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, in Riverview Cemetery, Topsham with Reverend Wally Staples officiating.
