Mrs. Blackwell, wife of the late James Odell Blackwell, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 19, 2015. Born in Darlington, she was the daughter of the late James Murray and Rena Laurel Jolly Goude. She was a member of New Life Christian Outreach Ministries
Surviving are her daughter, Beverly Stuber (Daniel III) of Lugoff; son, James Murray “Jimmy” Blackwell (Debbie) of Camden; brothers, Rev. Sam Goude (Cora Lee) of Mesa, Arizona and Rev. Don Goude (Darlyn) of Camden; sisters, Doris Goude of Lugoff, Frances Hewitt of Lugoff and Betty Jane Proctor of Lugoff; grandchildren, Daniel Stuber IV (Kelly) of Fort Mill, S.C., Jamie Livingston (Jacob) of Fort Mill, S.C., Benjamin Blackwell (Christa) of Baton Rouge, La., and Roddy Blackwell (April) of Camden; and 4 great-grandchildren, Nathan Livingston, Ella Livingston, Luke Stuber and Caden Stuber;. She was predeceased by brothers, Rev. James Goude, Thomas Goude, and George Goude; sisters, Alice Moore and Geraldine Copeland.
