Bobbie Joe Bowman, 73, of Westmoreland, TN died at 4:45 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN. The Jackson, TN native was a retired employee of J. & J. Machine in Hendersonville, TN, member of Faith Assembly Pentecostal Church and attended True Gospel Fellowship Church. He was a son of the late Bassell Edward Bowman and Georgia Aline Kirkpatrick Bowman.



He is survived by his wife of 55 years: Dorothy Wahler Bowman, Westmoreland, TN;

3 sons: Edward Lee Bowman and wife, Brenda, and Dwayne Allen Bowman and wife, Denise, all of Adolphus, KY; Timothy Joe Bowman and companion, Racheal, Westmoreland, TN;

1 daughter: Laura Bowman Andrews and husband, Larry, Lebanon, TN;

1 niece: Kim Graves, Adolphus, KY;

14 granadchildren, 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Betty Jean Sprow and Joyce Ann Boykin.



Funeral services were 1:00 p.m. Monday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Freddie Graves officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Monday.
