Mrs. Erma Eugenia Plummer Garner, age 89, of Waco, GA, passed away December 21, 2015.
She was born on July 27, 1926 in Waco, GA to the late John Fred and Effie Eugenia Peace Plummer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Luther Garner, Sr, (1994); sons, Samuel Luther Garner, Jr. (1988) and Bobby Garner (2002); sister and brother-in-law, Eunice and Homer Adams; and brothers and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Beth Plummer and an infant brother.
Erma was a devoted Christian, mother, wife, sister, and a very caring and compassionate person to all who knew her. She worked as a supervisor at Turner Manufacturing in Bremen until 1978 and was a member at the United Methodist Church of Waco.
Erma is survived by her daughter and son-in-law.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Driver officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service between the hours of 12:00 and 2:00 PM.
