Mrs. Gnass was retired from Barton-Malow Construction Co. She enjoyed living and being close to her grandchildren and working on her computer. As she became more homebound due to illness she was able to keep in touch via email and often enjoyed sending cartoons and jokes to her family and friends.
Mrs. Gnass was predeceased by her stepfather, Richard Crane; and a brother, Roy Wells.
Surviving are her children, John, Richard, Kay and Curtis; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother, Victor Russell Wells of California; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend and sister-in-law, Marvel Adams of Livonia.
