John Franklin Doman Sr., 73, of Kingwood, WV, died on Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at Preston Memorial Hospital. John was born April 8, 1940, in Kingwood, a son of the late Robert Denton and Ethel Marie (Miller) Doman. He was a graduate of Kingwood High School and a member of the Glory Bound Tabernacle Church. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ivadell Virginia (Dillsworth) Doman; one son and spouse, John Doman Jr. and Jessica of Kingwood; one daughter, Iva Jean Davis and husband, Ken Helmick of Kingwood; six grandchildren, Robert Doman, Amanda Davis, Melissa Davis, Savannah Doman, Montanna Doman, Felisha Hershman; six great-grandchildren, MaKensy Davis, Johnna Davis, Alexis Winters, Charles Winters, Brent Doman and MaKayla Shrout. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Doman and Robert Doman; four sisters, Wilma Jean LaRue, Betty Plum, Margret Shore and Mildred Jordan. Family and friends may call the Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel, 295 South Price Street, on Friday, January 24, 2014, from 2-4 and 6-8pm; on Saturday, January 25, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Norma Stimmel officiating.
