Gary Wade, age 65, of Shortt Gap, Virginia passed away Monday, December 21, 2015. Born in Buchanan County, Virginia on January 26, 1950, he was the son of the late Emory and Della Shortt Wade. He was a United States Army Veteran and retired coal miner from Consol. He loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors.
He is survived by his wife Dianna Wade; one son Brandon Wade and wife Robin of Shortt Gap, Virginia; one daughter Marsha Champeau and husband Phil of Johnson City, TN.; three grandchildren Bryant Wade, Kirstin Wade and Bryce Champeau; two brothers Gilmer Wade of Rosedale, Virginia and Greg Wade and wife Dreama of Radford, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel in Cedar Bluff, Virginia with Mrs. Phyllis Simmons officiating. Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum at Claypool Hill, Virginia.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Singleton Funeral Service in Cedar Bluff, Virginia.
